Elisabeth Wurtmann, PhD, MS, CGC is a genetic counselor specializing in cancer genetics. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Graduate Program in Genetic Counseling in 2017. Since then, she has worked at Allina Health. In addition to her role as a clinical genetic counselor, she is also active in clinical research and provides clinical supervision for genetic counseling students. Prior to entering the field of genetic counseling, Elisabeth received a PhD in Cell Biology from Yale University and completed postdoctoral training at the Institute for Systems Biology in Seattle.
